I like beaches, yesterday I read some cards about California, sent to one of our family members, maybe in the 1950.'s. I must research this a little bit more. The person who sent the cards visited New York and probably bought the cards there. His plan was to go all the way to California. He sends a photo of himself, made around the time he was 50 years old. In Finland he had left an timber cottage, quite large, but then he must have heard about gold in California like so many others, maybe ha also did not want to go to war, the frontier, to fight the russians, so he chose this other path, crossin...
Visit Vörå
Visit Vörå on West Coast of Finland. Here are many different villages, lakes, islands and beaches within short distance. Go with your own car, by bus or by bicycle. Walking and hiking are also in my opinion, very good ideas. On a map look first for Vasa, and Vörå is then situated about 15 kilometres from Vähäkyrö suburban area. In swedish we say Lill-Kyro. The region is multilingual but two main languages are swedish and finnish and very many also speak english. People may have studied german, french or other european languages in school, and in addition to that here are also immigrant or refugee groups from regions or countries not counted as Euorope, for instance Vietnam or Myanmar / Burma.
West Coast Finland, go see it!
With your camera & go in a car out in the archipelago Västkusten är vacker, folk är språk kunniga och det är inte svårt att nå den. Många byar, stränder och städer har väg- och broförbindelse ut i skärgården och längre österut. Finland som bäst. Vi har många badvikar och är du intresserad av att fotografera djur och natur, är Västkusten alla årstider en god idé! Här blir det inte tråkigt om du själv är en kreativ människa! West Coast, Finland, visit villages, cities, towns and municipalities. The archipelago is not difficult to reach either, since many islands are connected with bridges to the mainland. All of Finland is actually a lake district. Welcome if you like nature, birds, animals and flowers. Working with your camera, this is a good place to start. We have fields and mountains as well as four seasons. Never boring here, if you are a creative human being!
Snow and water
Snow right now, but I plan to spend some hours each day of the sport vacation next week, with editing and writing about what I would like to do this summer of 2023.
